The Graffiti Wall allowed our group to showcase the important facts about food waste and hunger. It was located in Sneaky Park. Information about our project, statistics, as well as information about Sowing Seeds for Life could be found on the wall. It created engagement with the public and some people asked questions about the project and helped with painting the wall.

Our Mission in Images

These images represent our groups effort to bring awareness to food waste and food hunger. We volunteered at Sowing Seeds for Life, a local food-bank, and as a group logged 31 hours.

The group helped with the Food Pantry, a community event where Sowing Seeds for Life opens their pantry to those less fortunate. The pantry happens every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. They served over 700 people, giving away more than 50,000 pounds of food.
