These images represent our groups effort to bring awareness to food waste and food hunger. We volunteered at Sowing Seeds for Life, a local food-bank, and as a group logged 31 hours.
The group helped with the Food Pantry, a community event where Sowing Seeds for Life opens their pantry to those less fortunate. The pantry happens every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. They served over 700 people, giving away more than 50,000 pounds of food.
